TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is essential in order to take part of the tour.  It is strongly suggested you also take out cancellation and medical  insurance as well to protect against cancellation fees and additional travel expenses that may incur before, after or during the trip.

DOCUMENTS
A valid passport must be held by each passenger traveling internationally. Some countries require that your passport is valid for 6 months from your return date. Visas are required for entry into some countries, including only passing through.   If traveling via North America, a visa waver is essential in order to enter, even if only in transit.   A visa for Mexico is given at the point of entry and gives you access for 90 days.  Please check with your local Embassy or Consulate of other countres being visited, to learn about Visa requirements for your Nationality. Obtaining Visas is at the passengers own expense.

INCLUDED IN TOUR COST
Unless indicated otherwise on the tour itinerary, the tour fee includes: accommodations in double occupancy, meals as indicated (any foods or beverages not included in the program and purchased by you will be at additional cost. Tour price includes only foods and non-alcoholic beverages that are provided to the entire group), all flights from New Zealand and transportation during the tour, sightseeing as specified in the itinerary, entrance fees for parks and other areas, and services of the tour leader. Tour guides and translators. The tour operator reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar category. Tour costs are based on group rates and no refunds will be given for unutilized services.

TOUR DATES, DELAYS AND ROUTE CHANGES
Due to unforeseen circumstances, changes in dates may have to be made. It is also possible that route changes, delays or postponements may become necessary. This could happen due to inclement weather, political restrictions or any other cause. In this event, you will have no right to a refund and Arte Spiral Tours and it’s suppliers will have no obligation in respect to such changes , except as follows;

If the land content of a tour is delayed, we will arrange, at no additional expense to you, accommodation for you for the duration of the delay.

If the scheduled place of departure, of the land content of the tour, is changed, we will arrange, at your expense, substitute means of transportation from the original point of departure to the rescheduled point of departure.

Arte Spiral  Tours and it’s suppliers reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure, in which case any payment you have made to Arte Spiral Art Tours will be refunded in full. You will not be entitled to make any further claims for compensation or damages, for any loss, consequential damage, expenses, loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation.  Hence the importance of travel insurance and trip cancellation insurance.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If trip is cancelled by ARTESPIRAL TOURS

If trip is cancelled due to lack of enrollments or other reasons, all payments will be refunded in full.  However, ArteSpiral Tours will not be liable for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking, such as vaccinations, visas, non-refundable flights or loss of enjoyment, etc. If an alternative tour chosen by you is of a lower value than the originally booked tour, you will receive a refund of the price difference. If the alternative tour chosen is of higher value than the originally booked tour, then you must pay the difference.

If trip is cancelled by YOU.

If you cancel more than 60 days before beginning of trip you will be refunded the full amount minus the deposit.  If you cancel 45 – 60 days before the trip 50% of the total fee is nonrefundable.  No refund will be given if you cancel between 1 and 44 days before the trip, if you do not show up or leave during the trip.  We strongly suggest that you purchase trip cancellation insurance in case you have to cancel for any reason.

No partial refunds are possible for any unused portion of your trip.

All services described herein are organized by Arte Spiral Tours and/or it’s suppliers. Notice is hereby given that all arrangements made on behalf of customers are made by the organizers on the sole condition that the organizers shall not be held responsible for any injury, death, accident, delay, loss, damage, or irregularity which may be occasioned through acts of any company and/or persons engaged in carrying out arrangements and services described herein or otherwise in connection herewith.

The information contained in this site is correct to the best of the organizer’s knowledge, but the organizer accepts no liability for any inaccuracies therein.

The organizers reserve the right to alter any itinerary or service at any time without penalty to the organizer. Any additional expense or cancellation costs shall be borne by the customer.

The organizers reserve the right to withdraw or refuse any service to any customer at the discretion of the organizers. Payment of deposit is taken as acknowledgment of and agreement to the above items.

CONSUMER DISCLOSURE NOTICE
Arte Spiral Tours and/or their agents act only in capacity as agents for the passenger in all matters connected with hotel accommodations, sight-seeing tours and land transportation, and as agent holds itself free of responsibility for any damage occasioned by any cause. Arte Spiral Tours  and or its agents will not be responsible for any damages or expenses or inconveniences caused by late departures or change of schedule, strikes or to their conditions, nor will be responsible for loss or damage to baggage or any of the passenger’s belongings. All prices quoted are correct at time of printing, include the cost of operation of the tours, and are subject to currency and airfare changes. Arte Spiral Tours and affiliates, officers, employees, servants and agents shall not be responsible for personal injury, death, accident, delay, loss, damage, irregularity or property damage as a result of force majeure or for any other losses or damages incurred by any person or tour participants caused by any delay or change of itinerary or arising out of any act, including, but not limited to, any act of negligence, any person acting for or on behalf of Arte Spiral Tours for transportation, accommodation or sight-seeing provider or any other person or entity rendering any of these services or accommodations being offered in connection with these tours.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
The passenger understands that during the course of the trip certain risks and dangers may occur, including but not limited to the hazards of traveling in mountainous forces of nature. The passenger agrees to assume all risks associated with the journey and agrees that no liability will attach to the company or its outfitters, employees or agents, or to any member of the tour group in respect of death, personal injury, illness or delay of the passenger, or for any loss of or damage to the property of the passenger during the course of the trip, howsoever caused. The company reserves the right to decline, to accept, or to retain any person as a member of any party at any time. Catch up fees are the responsibility of the passenger in the event of a missed flight or transport to the start point of the trip.
