Mandala Painting

Address of workshop will be given upon registration

In this workshop you have the option to do one day or two days.  If you are unsure, you can come along to the first day, and then decide if you want to come back for the second day.

The process of creating a mandala is very calming, meditative and allows you to fully focus on your intention and the art process itself.  The technique itself is very easy to learn, even if you have never painted before.  Most so called ‘non-creative’ people find Mandala painting surprisingly simple and are always astonished at their results.  I look forward to seeing you there.

ONE DAY WORKSHOP (or first day of two day workshop)

LEARN HOW TO CREATE HEALING MANDALAS. You will be guided every step of the way from beginning to end in creating your own personal Mandala.  We start with a guided meditation to focus on your own issues and questions.  Instruction and suggestion on color combining and technique will be given. You will be shown how to create an 8 point mandala using water coloring in pencils and colour pens.  You will also have the opportunity to experiement with both freehand and structured mandalas.

In this in-depth workshop you will have plenty of opportunity to explore the world of Mandalas.  You will be guided every step of the way from beginning to finish in creating your Mandala from scratch. Instruction on color combining and technique will be given. On day one you will experiment with various mandala styles, and on the second day you will be encouraged to create a deeply personal mandala or two. You will also learn how to create a more complex 16 point mandala.

Tania Williams started teaching Creative Art and Mandala workshops in 2011 while living in New Zealand.   As her entire family are artist, Tania was exposed to the creative way of life from a young age, winning her first art prize at the age of 9. Tania has exhibited her art both in Australia and New Zealand, and her works are in collections all over the world.

Tania is drawn to Mandala painting due to its sacred and contemplative aspects.  Not only is it a great way to unwind, re-balance, contemplate and refresh, but you also end up with a beautiful piece of art you can proudly hang on your wall.

The classes are kept small, so will fill up fast.
