 Create your own Mayan Mandala 

Discover what your Sacred Mayan sun sign is, and use it as a centrepiece for your personal Mandala. We will briefly discuss the Mayan Calendar and the December solstice date which heralds the transition into a new era for the Maya.  You will then create your very own Maya Mandala, of which the process and end result are equally enjoyable and healing.

Enjoy a glass of Champagne to help ease you into the creative zone….

No art experience needed, as you will be guided every step of the way with both structure and colour combinations. We will be using acrylic paint and pastels and will be painting on canvas or board.
The Tzolk’in calendar

The 260-day Tzolk’in, or sacred calendar, is the oldest calendar known in Mesoamerica, dating back to at least 600 BC.  It was based on the nine month human gestation period, and is still observed today among traditional Maya groups. The day on which you were born speaks of your, character, soul and destiny, and as such is a great teacher for your life.

What to bring:  A square board or canvas aprox 15cm2. Sketch pad A4 size or larger if you have one.
Included :  All art materials (except for board or canvas)

Deposit: 20.00 (place holder)

$95 to be paid by 18th May      

Early Bird $80.  if paid by 4th May

Cancellation Policy

If cancelling 5 working days prior to workshop total fee minus the place holder deposit will be refunded.

If cancelling less than 2 working days prior to workshop there is no refund.
