In this intermediate drawing workshop you will bring all the fundamentals of drawing together in a study of the face. You will learn how to draw the face from frontal, side and three quarter view using charcoal and pencil. This will be a good opportunity to practice the fundamental drawing skills of line and contour, space, perspective and proportion and shading.
Enjoy a glass of Wine to help ease you into your creative zone….
Afternoon tea included.
What to Bring:
You will need to bring along three photos; a full frontal face, a side view (profile) and a three quarter view photos. They can be of someone you know, or a complete stranger who’s face appeals to you, or it could even be a famous portrait. But make sure that there is a good contrast between light and shadow as this make for a far more interesting subject.
Also please bring your own good quality pastel paper or at least a good quality A3 size sketch pad, and if you have charcoal please bring.
