When was the last time you walked down the street naked?

Ever wondered why you keep dreaming about similar themes again and again.  Although dream symbolism is highly personal and often only makes sense to the dreamer, there are certain themes that are more universal and can be understood in the broad sence.  Here are some of theses common themes.

Flying

Theses dreams usually happen at a time when you are feeling high, elated, happy, etc.  Also think of how you would use the word flying in common speech ie, passed with flying colours, we flew down the freeway, how time flies. How high were you flying, were you just above the ground or were you above the earth’s atmosphere? How easy or difficult was it?  Flying is often about reaching a higher potential in some part of your life.

Falling.

These dreams are often related to a metaphorical fall of some sore; a fall in opinion, fall from grace, loss of status, demotion, falling below expectations etc.

Nudity

These dreams are often about feeling exposed, naked, revealed, vulnerable.  Also about honesty and openness.  If you dream of being naked but nobody seems to take any notice, this often means that some disclosure you are consciously worried about is really nothing to worry about.

Examination Dreams

Could be a warning to get prepared for some kind of actual examination or test coming up.  But usually they are metaphorical alerting us to the feeling that we are under some kind of examination or are being tested.

Loosing Teeth

Theses dreams can refer to loosing face, spoiled self image, loose or careless speech.  Do you feel toothless in some way?  About the feeling of getting old.

Loosing money and valuables

Could be a warning, check your wallet. What values do you feel you may be loosing in your life? Remember not all values are good ones, some are actually good to let go of.

Finding valuables or money

These dreams may be referring to your own value or worth as a person. May be literal.

Sex dreams

May be literal, as in wishful thinking dreams, but is often symbolic in the sense that we are feeling excited, or turned on by something in our lives.  Becoming intimately involved with, or integrating two aspects of ourselves.  The question may be how much libido do you have invested in something in your life.
